I had the great privilege to be invited by the Casa Caché Art Foundation to participate at an artist residency in Havana for the whole month of June.
In Cuba, I followed three different topics: the dress rites of the Santeria followers - a religion that has developed from African Yoruba traditions and Catholic influences - the influence of fashion from West Africa, and the costumes of the dancers of Club Tropicana, which are a copy of a copy of the original costumes from the 1950s.
