traurig- heiter, 2 Wolken (sad - serene, 2 clouds), a painting by BrunoGoller (1901 - 1998), is the title of this exhibition. Two poles in life, which the artist captures simply and in his own poeticway onthe canvas. When art succeeds in creating counter-worlds, it can be asalvation, for the creator of the works as well as for the viewers. Goller was such an artist for sure.
Crises and their realities can be crushing and the balance in life seems to be lost.
Beauty, suffering, silence and melancholy, fantasy, humour and the absurd meet and merge like metaphors in this exhibition.
